BODY TREK
summer camp 2006 will be held the end of June 2006. Watch this site for the actual
dates and registration information. This will be the 11th year of this camp. Students in grades 5th
through 8th will learn more about the human body.
At the camp, students have the opportunity to learn from physicians and other health care
professionals who volunteer their time to work with students during an in-depth
investigation of body systems.
In past years, students have been involved in activities as varied as suturing a pig's
food, dissecting a cow's brain or lungs and viewing open-heart surgery via
closed circuit TV.

The Robert Crown Center Golf Invitational is a major fundraiser for the
center. It is a vital reason why we continue to be the most
important health education resource for Chicagoland's public and private
schools. Proceeds from the event help cover 20% of the center's
annual operating expense. Your playing in the Invitational makes it a successful fundraiser. Invitations
will be mailed in May.
