At the camp, students have the opportunity to learn from physicians and other health care professionals who volunteer their time to work with students during an in-depth investigation of body systems.

In past years, students have been involved in activities as varied as suturing a pig's food, dissecting a cow's brain or lungs and viewing open-heart surgery via closed circuit TV.
